Ok, I'm making this model in Gmax for a map (duh) and up until about 2 hours ago everything in it worked exactly the way I wanted it to (after much hair pulling). I figured it'd be fairly easy to do since it's only a simple cube, but it's turned into the bane of my existence. Basically, I want to add attachment points. So I tried doing it the way the tutorial said, but they just don't show up. Then I tried adding them using notepad (shouldn't be too hard) and Warcraft crashes every time I try to use the model. I've read through every tutorial I could find on mdls and attachment points and concluded that you need to add the points as follows under the bones: Attachment "Weapon Ref" { ObjectId 6, } Also the objectID can't repeat previous objectIDs, new objectIDs need pivot points on the corresponding lines, and a line is needed at the top under the "numbones" line that says how many points you have. So I have all that, and I've scoured Google and these forums for mdl tutorials, but everything I've read says that my model should work, but it doesn't. I tried taking the attachment points out, and it works perfectly, so I'm 100% sure it's the attachment points. Could someone please look at this and tell me what's wrong. Also, if it's not too much trouble, could you add a vertical bobing "stand" animation to it? I tried animations in Gmax, but they just don't work either, so I made a trigger to bob the cube up and down by changing the flying height every second, but I'm thinking that it might cause lag. |\ ||\ Kajenx \|/ / |

Anyone? I'm going insane! EDIT: I figured it out! You have to have a stand animation for a model with attachment points. |\ ||\ Kajenx \|/ / |
