Refrencing the unit data in tooltips?

Is it possible to refrence unit data in tooltips like you can in spells? (ex. <A001, Dam1>)
It would make the creation of lots of units a lot easier if i knew the format that would allow me to do it. Also, are there any other techniques to use to increase efficiency when making large numbers of units, all with custom tooltips?

I think your just gonna have to tough it out Skwee, making decent maps take awhile. But in the end the accomplishment will be reward enough.

I tried it a long time ago, and no it did not work.
