Hunters And Stalkers Concept: Two teams. One the hunters which consists of 4 players. Two the stalkers which consists of up to 8 players. Map starts off with a simple cinematic explaining that the hunters have gone into a abandoned area of the city to find these weird extraterestrial beings. Only thing is the beings (the stalkers) are crazy killing machines. The four hunters enter map and begin theyre hunt. While the stalkers start in random locations and try to find each other and hunt the hunters (stalkers do not have shared vision). A team wins by killing the other team. Point: To make a simple but enjoyable map. Can be done in 10 min but if experienced players are in it could last hours. Needs: A triggerer and someone who can do cinematics (preferibly if the triggerer and cinematics are done by same guy but what can you do?) Positions : Leader: KingGigli Terrainer: KingGigli Spells and units: KingGigli Triggers: Yoz Cinematics: Yoz More info will be provided on request. EDIT: its done check the completed maps. |

You said you needed a triggerer, and I can help, I know how to do cinematics, although I am not too good at putting them together to make somthing really good, but I think I could do an introduction. I never got that PM you said you sent me and when I tried to PM you it said you have chosen not to recieve them... anyway, post here I guess unless you fix your PM thing... |

I might be prepared to help. I doubt I'll actually help much in the making, but I can beta test and throw ideas at you. -I recommend making the STALKERS four players, and the HUNTERS eight, as you give the impression hunters are going to be weaker. -I suggest you change one team name, as hunter and stalker both mean similar things. -Make the stalkers using the ghoul model? -Don't give the stalkers items, but give the hunters things like sentry guns and nets to ensnare. Possibly give hunters something based on Faerie Fire, so they can hit a stalker with it then track them. -Make sure the spells fit the characters. For example, the stalkers should have things like "Web" and "Acid Spray", possibly one called "Hamstring", which is a melee attack that slows the target, and other stuff that could be biological, whereas the hunters should have spells like "Grenade", "Tracker", "Energy Shield" and other technological things. -Make sure the hunters, being more technology, are more based on items than on spells, e.g. if you're gonna give them sentry guns say, make them items, as the hunters wouldn't really be able to build an infinite number by producing them from thin air. -Make some generators or something spread througout the city that the hunters can power up to gain advantages, and the stalkers can destroy to remove those advantages. -Make it so that when a hunter dies, they spawn a drone that is controlled by the stalker who killed them? -Add computer controlled soldiers wanderng around that help the hunters, but don't have shared vision with them, and are very weak? Oh, if you like, you may want to check my tutorial on a gold/lumber based ammo system. It might be useful for the hunters to only have limited ammo... If you have trouble, ask me and I'll modify it for you... |

sorry for not posting here i am on vacation in Barbados at the moment and i have no acces to world edit but once i get home i must finish a map for WCIII: WOW which will only take an hour then i will finish the map for this project, it wont be that big. Yoz: sorry if you dont post here for a while ill PM you. Hyarion: great ideas only problem is i rather keep the names the way they are. and the whole ammo idea thing is actually really nice ill think about it. |

Guest | i would be willing to help with triggering and anything else that needs to be done.I am ok at just about everything ( i cant model or skin) and your idea sounds interesting enough for me to be motivated to help. i dont know if you've already answered this or not, but would this game be taking place in a city or out in a forest, a combination of the two, or somwhere else entirerly? |

Predictable model choice. IMHO, if you want this to look futuristic, DON'T use those house doodads. Just take a tip from the terrain in NOTD, and build buildings using the cliff tool. The houses look too medevil for a futuristic map with aliens and marines... |
