About a week ago I was searching for a thread for how solve the problem of cliff skins not working. There were many threads, but I only found one that was completely answered, and it was kind of long and unclear as to whether it works. And now just this week, I've seen two new threads asking the same question. So, I'm posting the solution here =] It should probably go in an FAQ list or something, along with non-obvious solutions to other common problems. Here's the solution: In the import editor, use either: "ReplaceableTextures\Cliff\Cliff0.blp", or "ReplaceableTextures\Cliff\Cliff1.blp", depending on whether it's the first or second cliff tile in the tileset. It won't show up in the world editor, but it works in wc3. |

Sorry, but this solution doesn't work, I've tried it multiple times and my texture still doesn't work, a usable solution to the problem would be appreciated, no offense. EDIT: My mistake, there's apparently just something wrong with my video card and it deserves to die, but either way, I managed to get it to work now, thanks! |
