WT 36: Sanctum for the races

This weeks Weekly Terraining will be concerning the few places in the world of Warcraft, where complete and utter serenity and tranquility dominates. The places where the different races rally to lull into the feeling of being completely safe and at ease.

I want you to terrain the sanctuaries of the races. Remember what a sanctuary could be for you and then try to make a racial feeling on it.

An example: You could terrain the Moonglade, where Night elf and Tauren druids come to seek the wisdom of the nature. Where they both have encamped themselves in peace with eachother and in peace with nature.

I've always been interested in these weekly terraining sessions. I'm curious to join (perhaps not this week, im too busy) but do I just submit my entry fot the weeks topic, or do I need permission, or part of something, whats the procedure? I no your in charge round here so I thought I had best direct my question to the correct authority ^_^

Weekly Terraining is just an exercise terrainers do to try to improve their skills.

Just put your screenshots of terrain that relates to the topic in the thread if you want.

Elzarath, I wouldn't call it being in charge. I'm merely the guy who comes up with crazy ideas based of the Suggestion Thread or my own imagination and I have no power to decide anything about anything.

I do have a certain position though, but the only thing I can do is advice more terrainers to start making entries of their own free will and make it look good.

As [Death] said, it's an exercise to train your skills in terraining various things and a good place to get some reputation points and useful comments.

I hope that you become a regular and you are always welcome to ask questions to me or any of the friendly people that inhabit this forum.

PS: nice entry though it seems like you are covering bare parts, since the screenshots show very little.

Show very little?! Well, the first screenshot: It just is'nt bigger! It supposed to be an entrance hall/stairway thing...
The second screenshot: Well, i just used that to show how the sanctuary ig protected..
Third screenshot: IJust too show were the paladins/other holy men gather..

find the 2 diffrences.. no im just kidding it didnt really turn out the way i wanted it but heej why not submit it and if it really sux i'll just find another one and try again (i love constructive critisisme (if any one of u even dare to say this sux i'll... i'll!!)

Does the sanctuary have to look like one from WoW or can it just be what you think one might look like?

I believe that implies that we can go for something new, besides terraining should help develop creativity, and the weekly terrain was not meant to box people into something.

A city on Northrend, a Scourge city, something that the lore says exists in WoW but nobody has ever seen because you can't go to Northrend in WoW yet. The first shot was inspired by some concept art for Northrend in the WoW Art Book(came with collectors edition).

lol... I've been here for two years and I still am bad at this stuff.

I am glad that I can do whatever because I made a rather thorough design plan on paper right after I posted that that will probably take all week but hopefully will be good. I'm going to even try and roof the whole sanctum (at least where i think it should be roofed) and things like that. I wish I knew about this weekly thing years ago!!

Is everybody dead? why is it so quiet all-of-a-sudden?
