Exporting others files?

If I want to export peoples files with winmpq, and there map is blocked would i be able to still take it... becauuse they made custom skills and I was wondering if it would work on another map?

Yes you can, but please dont unless you get their permission. Nothing can stop you from doing it, but really please ask them first.

ok i did, when i find their skill abilty.txt or wutever it callled i save it then i open it again, but hten i cant find what the cnages are

You should be able to export stuff with MPQView if that's all you want. I find that much more stable and faster.
