I have come upon a very peculiar problem. I'm trying to set the attack range of a tank unit I've created based off of the steam tank. However, when I set it to the value I want, such as 900 or 1150, the range in game doesn't change, and it continues to attack from about 450 units away, which looks real stupid for a tank to be doing. Other units dont have this problem in game, for example the mortar infantry I have created can attack from 1150 away. Does anyone know why this happens? |

Set its aquistion range to 1150 and it shall work. |

You're either looking at an aquisation range problem, or maybe ur putting in the wrong Range slot. There are a few things with 'range' in it. Make sure its under the right type of attack, since all units have two 'Attack' abilities (1 & 2). So, make sure everything is right, it shouldnt cause too much of a problem. If you need more specific info, feel free to ask. Hope that helps ;D |

Thanks a ton, it was indeed the acquisition range thing. |

It usually is. Remember people, you cant set the range of a unit to be longer than its aquisition range. |
