Why dont you change your password, wait an hour and change it again? Heh, the second change isnt necessary at all... its my paranoid instincts. Thats what I did when someone got on my account. |

Well, it is changed again. This time they de-actived the signature and avatar change. I am now unable to change my avatar and signature. I can't believe what people find so funny about this. |

Read the few posts above this if you want to know what is going on. My Edit-password is disabled too. |

You can turn off show signature in the quick quote thing... Other then that...how can they turn off sigs/avatar change? Thats just odd. |
| 03-16-2005, 11:38 AM | #10 |
It's quite simple. Someone with a higher rank than me is doing all this, since I doubt it is a hack. Changing avatars, signatures and titles can only be done by Section Directors (Cubasis, Republico, Dorelian) and Administrators (Draco, Stooned and Himse) so... While I can turn off my signature through the quick reply like you said, I prefer to have a signature. Though I must admit that I have a certain liking to this avatar as well :P -Fladian |

Gee, you noticed. Even though I am not so fond on the one changing my signature, I am starting to get pretty fond on these avatars :P |

Also paying attention, we know that the err, 'defamer', is a commoner of wc3c IRC. And they use the -_- smiley. |
| 03-17-2005, 11:41 AM | #14 |
It would be neat, but not very useful. I can't do much right now, I'll be staying putt for a while and go on on the forum and I'll see what happens. "fladiandefame2" sounds familiar to you? It doesn't ring any bell for me. IF the situation worsens, I'll probably take some actions. Highly probably a commoner from IRC, but facts remains that I never visit IRC. Regarding the "-_-" smilie could be that the person is trying mimic me. I have been using that smilie since Pgamers (4 years ago) and still am using it. |

(I could have sworn I wrote this message already) Now it is fladiandefame3. I was saying it was that because it looks more of an intentional thing then just a random act of amusement/whatever. As for the IP address tracking, you could trace the image in your sig to its source, then do an IP search on wc3campaigns (ive seen it before but im not sure if its a moderator feature only or what) and get the guy. err, i just realized i didnt hit the post reply button yet o_O |
