great thx, dude... Dont know where to start replyin your post, should be sleepin anyway, gotta stand up early tomorrow, but never mind.

1. Hope i will continue coloring soon, today i spend my hole time on drawing another picture, doin sports and my f**kin work experience... i think about the BG your right :)

2. the nose- your right again, but i liked pic 1+2 like they are/were (before inking) but i thought it would look nicer so then with the nose e.g. you added. the head is turned too much, i think, so the nose u did is too large and it would have to be so tiny that its better to draw no nose (my opinion). in pic 3+4 the face is uglyer then before, i knew before. and i set the lense of the eye to the wrong point, but its ink and i dont know any trick to make it back :) is there one???

3. the elbows - what would you advise me? to watch and learn the skeleton and muscles and so on? or just watch images of the elbow? in fact i dont have enough practice about it...

4. eye again -u mean u should be able to see much less of the eye? right now i understand what u mean...

i like your speed coloring very much... i wouldnt have got it like this i think... too less knowledge about shadows and light, but i will go on learning... now i say good night, tommorow ill post the picture i drew today.... seems ur one of minority which answers a lot, ^^ ... thx ...

i have a little respect to tell other once what i like/dislike about their pics , cuz im not too good at drawing...

Ok! then lets get started.

1- He is too small (not tall enough), most people in general are 7 head tall or vaguely at least 6,5, from what i counted he is 5 head tall, it gives an effect that make him look too large, you screwed the Torso and legs, look at yourself in a mirror, the torso you draw is crouched all togeher and the legs are too small as well, i would have started the legs where the Knees are

2- Head shape, its clear you want something more realistic than too cartoonish, he need a chin and a nose

3- Spike and element that goes in perspective, try to make a line who describe the shape you want to put details on (helmet Spikes), by doing a line following the curve of the object (helmet) you should be able to make the spikes blend with the it

Hope its help you, keep praticing

Saboara, people are normaly 7-8 heads tall, 8 is the norm.
I cant think of any advice that they have not said. just keep practicing.

i know about the height of a person 7 heads are normal in reality, but for heroic persons when u draw you often give him a height of 8 heads, but maybe couse of his ducked pose i forgot or didnt get it ^^. i tryed do do the shadows and light after your example wormskull, and heres my versoin colored. i didnt save the .psd so this is the final picture, i wont change anything, i dindt change the nose too, but here it is:

gotta go now.. i hope when i come home this evening i can read some answers ^^....

well yea, you will get a better effect with Colors than dodge and burn, just look at the wormskull contrast, its make metal looks like metal, dodge and burn seem to make some plastic like tectures

and NightArcher, normal people are 7 head tall not 8, that info come directly from a professional teacher who gave ous class on drawings
