Uping Reasearch Levels with a Ability

Ok im making a hero and I want it that every time he puts a skill point into Spell A it will increase the reasearch level of Upgrade A by 1 level. Is this possible? When I use "Unit learns a skill" event, it only works for when he initially learns the spell and not when he increases its levels.

You can check the ability level, and then launch the trigger where you increse the reserarch level. Sorry I can't be of more help, I'm asleep right now and can't look at the triggers since I don't have Warcraft installed.

Anyway, when I use the event "Unit learns a skill" (I just did, in a quick test map), it works just fine even when the hero further levels-up the skill, it should work the same way for you.
