How would I import/use custom music within Worldeditor, or do I need to d/l something else?

Careful with your spelling. I think WorldEditor was for Quake (Or was that WorldCraft?). For WC3 it's WorldEdit.

You don't need anything else. It's easy to import music (as wav or mp3) - just click the sound viewer in WE and work it out from there. Very simple.

Don't mind magic necro, he always tries to find at least 1 bad thing about your post no matter what.

If you post don't be surprised that Magic is tagging along

And also - it's WARCRAFT III WORLD EDITOR, The exe file is called WORLD EDITOR.EXE, and everybody else calls it WORLD EDITOR.
And this isn't qcampaigns.com so what the hell else would he be talking about?!?

ONE MORE THING!!! The "Worldeditor" name is used by hundreds of game editors.

AND ANOTHER THING!!! WHO THE HELL PLAYS QUAKE NOWADAYS?!?

*L*. :D

I'm sorry, a lack of sleep brought the above post (4 hours doesn't help my brain achieve much more than grunts). I was thinking, though, it was the same as StarEdit (Blizzard are usually consistent like that) and because the help files for it are in WorldEdit. See?
Guess I didn't look clearly at my own Start Menu though. ;)

As for finding '1 bad thing' about posts, I beg to differ, though I see where you're coming from. All I do is give my opinion on the many campaign ideas around here, and most fail to impress me.

'Tagging along'? [sarcasm]Oh my god, I posted several times and was critical! I must be some sort of deranged critic determined to let everyone know everything! [/sarcasm]
Not.

As for Quake - I think WorldCraft for that is used for all the Quake games, and quite a lot of people still play Quake 3
(Oh, and hopefully Quake 4 is in full production now that DooM's nearly done).

Ahem.
Did you import your custom music them, Necro? =)

As a matter of fact, no - but I did see what you were talking about, rather simple. I've begun to debate whether or not custom voice is worth importing or not - especially after seeing the criticism brought forth by the voices of The Rise of Krill to that campaign.

It's just that they got anybody who didn't know what the story was about and couldn't make the tones and stuff for the situation. Also, put music files in a war3patch.mpq - I'm guessing you know how to do that?
