Tavern Hotkeys?

I was wondering how to change the hotkey required to select a 'hero' from a tavern. I see the field 'text - Hotkey' under object editor and changed the value several times, but that resulted in nothing. I was also thinking, that maybe the hotkey is based off the 'base hero' which would be unfortunate as I would have to go through the game and look at all heroes and their hotkeys, and arrange my own heroes accordingly. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Sorry, I've misunderstood my problem. The actual problem is that when you select the tavern/altar to select a hero, it displays "Summon HeroX (X)" and what I really wanted to know was how to remove the (X).

That's part of the basic tool tip. Just delete that bit of color code and the X that it is around.
