Guest | This is not gonna be a campaign map or rpg, it's something similar to warcraft although each player has his role in one kingdom. The goal of this map is to conquer the kingdom of the other side of the land. There will be two kingdoms, waging war against each other, because they want to take over the world. Both kingdoms start out equally, and as the game develops, so will the kingdoms and eventually one kingdom will fall and the other wins. So I thought the players would have control of units playing different roles in the kingdoms, for example Red (Player 1) will have control of the King of the Western Kingdom, Dark Green (Player 7) the King of the Eastern Kingdom. There will be Architects who will construct buildings for the kingdom (buildings include farms, barracks, shops for heroes ... though the architect role as it is now is kinda boring, so any ideas on how to make it more fun, with like stuff to buy for example?). There will be the Commander, who will be taking control of the army. And lastly the Heroes who will aid the army in war, and who will quest in various dungeons for artifacts(that will benefit the Heroes only, not the kingdom). As the players controlling the differnet parts of the kingdom is real people sitting behind keyboards playing, they can do whatever they want. If they however do something that is 'illegal' or doesnt approve to the king, they may be Jailed by the King's royal guards, with a single word from the King. They may be released any time. When the Commander is jailed, the King will have control of the Troops. Also, I thought, between the two kingdoms there will be Villages able to be taken over by either of the kingdoms, and they will benefit the kingdom with more income and more trainable troops. So, any ideas on how to make this map more fun, and to add more possibilities to the game (to make it more personal for each game)? |
