Did you try to create your own pathing texture?

Make a paint file like the pathing textures blizzard uses but made to fit your own doodad.

You can use floating platforms ... its a doodad that basically gives pathing where there isnt pathing.

An invisible platform is a doodad that has special "walkable" pathing. It invisible (obviously) so you can place them on other doodads (make sure they don't have pathing), then use ctrl+page up to raise into the air. Then when you start the game, your units will ber able to walk up oto wherever the paltforms are. But, you still need to put pathing blockers on the side, or else they walk right off.

well the point of this thread was to see if you didn't have to make pathing blockers
