My map has a very large amount of objects. Over 100 custom items, many custom upgrades, over 100 custom units, of which over 40 are heroes and much more are their summons. Each hero has 3 7-level abilities, 1 single level ability and 1 4-level ability, which gives us 33 ability data units per hero. Combined with hero summons abilities, custom item abilities and custom creep abilities, it gives us a grand total of over 1.5K abilties (sic). Obviously, this crapload of object data creates an immense amount of load time. The worst part - i can't remove anything at this point of development. So t.t i have a problem. Is there any way to optimise this? |

Guest | DISABLE YOUR BRUSH LIST it will make it go 300% faster. To do this: Window ---> Brushlist (uncheck it) See if that helps ~Piece~Cya |

I am talking about map load time when starting a game, not World Editor load time. |

For some strange reason, the people who know how to cut the loading time, keep it a secret. Atleast thats what I have heard. |

Strange people... Why bother? Everyone will know eventually anyway. Oh well. Is there any good tutorial on inner structure of WC3 maps? I want to try and figure this out myself. |

Try using vexorian's map optimizer. I don't really know how it works, just that it does. It reduces lag, and load times. |

Already did. Still not satisfied. I want to find out how to edit and optimise slk tables. AFAIK that can decrease the size of map with many custom skills as well as its load time very dramatically. |
