New IRC Channel

We created a new IRC channel specifically for the forums! This is a place where you can chat in real time with other WC3C members about WC3 or other things. It is also a great way to coordinate a project team or similar group.

If you are already experienced with IRC, the channel is #wc3c on irc.irc-wizardz.net. If not, no problem, it is very easy! Just click the Chat link in the navigation bar and select Wc3c General Chat. This will automatically connect you to IRC. If you end up coming more regularly, I recommend using a stand alone client like mIRC (help on using this can be found at its website).

If you're one of our hard working moderators, you can have special privileges here (op or halfop) and help keep the channel clean. Just message Draco or me once you log in.

There is an older channel too, but it has greatly diverged from what happens here on the site and WC3 in general. This new channel is specifically for the people who are currently interested in WC3.
