There are so many passive skills in wc3 such as: Cleaving Attack, Flak Cannons, Pulverize, Fragmentation Shards, Disease Clouds Critical Strike, Bash, Drunken Brewler Demolish Searing Arrows, Frost Arrows, Black Arrows, Incinerate Item Life Steal, Item Fire/Frost/Venon/Lightning/... Burning Oil, Liquid Fire, Freezing Breath, Feedback, Slow Poison, Poison Spear, Pillage Lightning Attack, Spider Attack, Frost Attack If a unit has some of the passive skills, is thers a simple and clear proccedure to decide which skills act and which don't? For example, if a unit has Demolish, Searing Arrows, Critical Strike and all 100% chance, what will happen? If a unit has Incinerate, Burning Oil, Critical Strike and all 100% chance, what will happen? If a unit has Death Mask, Critical Strike, Lightning Attack, what will happen? Moreover, with Vampiric Aura and Reflection Damage... if a unit has Demolish/Searing Arrow/Bash, will the bonus damage reflect? Does the bonus damage steal life? The "if"s are all examples, I want to know the rule to judge since I don't want to (and don't have time to) make a test for all situations.... |

Guest | OK I'm not sure on this either but I know a few Bash + Critical strike. Works fine Freezing breath + slow posion. Doesnt work Drunken Brawler + Evasion. Deosnt work Basiclly any ability that similar to another doesnt stack, like the two "doesnt work"'s I listed. (Some do though) |

I doubt it. Although I might be wrong, I still doubt it. As for which abilities go off first. Hard to say, it could do many things i.e. both don't work, the stronger one works and the other doesn't, it chooses a random skill and uses it... for example of evasion and drunken brawler, when the opponent attacks the hero maybe the first attack it uses the evasion, and on the second attack it uses the drunken brawler. These are questionable things. Maybe someone who know these things better then I do, and can answer you question fully. |
