WELCOME The Saga of Varimos - This is a Project that will contail 2 multiplayer maps and 1 campaign. (maybe it will also contain 1 cinematic) The first map is Open RPG for 11 players. It will contain 12 heros, 2 heros per race all with unique storyline, the storyline will be seen in the character select area before chosing a hero, through the map will playing with him and reading his abilities (like items in Rotd or the Rexxar Campaing) The second map is a War Game map is uhh,... it's also like a RPG but between players, it will have three mod that will be chosen at the begining of the map. You will chose a race than a class and start in your town, you will meet heros from the first map, they will be extra powerful and protect your town. It will contain a lot of races, i don't even know how many races i added ^_^ As for those 3 mods, the first one is a War Game, the second one is a survival mod and the third is an Open RPG mod, where all players will be free to do whatever they want(duhh it is an open rpg) The 3rd part is a campaing, it will be played like WCIII: World of Warcraft, but just with 1 hero, i'm still thinking about what i will add. Now for the progres: The first and second map terrain is 99% finished so i will not need terrainers, i have done the hero selection systen in the first map, and second, just need to create all heros. I will need triggerers for the quest system, stat system, and some help with multiboards. As for the story and other things, I will post them it tommorow,... Chapter 1- Missing link to Azeroth Defeating the Burning Legion at the Battle of Mount Hyjal and the Nathrazim the Burning Legion lost theyr connection to Azeroth, while the Scourge and the Forsaken are rebuilding theyr Citadels on Icecrown and Tirisfal Glades. Knowing they could still go on Azeroth, the same way like they used Arthas. The same way just another place and another time. When Illidan died, Kael had to retreat to Outland with his cursed Blood Elves, and Lady Vasnj's Naga, knowing that Arthas would crush them if they stay on Icecrown. Kael's most trusted lieutenant, Faelin Varimos lost faith in Kael and Illidan, desperate for his hunger for magic and freedom of his people, Varimos retreated to Kul Tiras, a citadel on the Great Sea. Kil'jaeden managed to talk Varimos into taking the Orb of Outland, he said that it could free his people form they eternal grasp of magic. The position of the Orb Of Outland was near the Dark Portal. Before Varimos set off he created his clan and named him and his troops the Talon Wizards. After a month they reached the Dark Portal and started searching the Orb. Varimos found the orb and wanted to take it for his own not listening to Kil'jaeden's orders. Unfortunatly, he when he wanted to take the orb he disturbed the powers of corruption, making them unbalanced causing a colosal explosion. The orb courrupted him, adding him unbeliveable powers and abilities, he could even match Kil'jaeden himself,.... (now the map one starts, i created the intro where a Wizard carries a messege that Varimos survived the explosion of the Orb) |
