Inverting surfaces

Long Story:
I have recently attained 3DS Max and started on my first test model right away. Needless to say, within a few minutes I've run into a problem. My bow seems to have part of its body "inside-out". I have come across this problem in other programs, but after a lengthy search on the 3DSM interface I havn't found anything to help invert my bow :(

Short Story: How can I flip objects that are inside out back to normal in 3DS Max.

so I fixed it, but still dont know how to invert. just back tracked and somehow it didnt flip inside-out the second time I did the exact same thing. It would still be nice if someone answered my original question. And here is my first (half-a**ed) model in 3dsmax.

Sincerely, I don't know how the hell you managed to make that look this messy. But aniway, convert that thing to editable poly, then select the polygons that you want to invert and then select from the modify pannel Flip. That should do it.
