I put a MP3 in my map and it changes it from 2000kb to 10000kb! Is there any way of compressing the MP3, cause it sounds great in the map, but it's just too big...

You could try using the Goldwave program located at: www.goldwave.com and you will need the required .dll also located on that site by downloading the program ****, the file you should copy from the **** directory and paste into the Goldwave directory is "****_enc.dll". This will allow you to save ***** files as .mp3's and for answering the question...

Use goldwave to open that .mp3 of yours and go to file, then "save as" and before hitting "save" **** the Playback Rate (I think that's it) and lower it (the smallest I ever got it was 80kbps and still be able to hear it in the WE properly). then Save it and try again :)

Also, the WE can make a ***** file "seem" bigger, look carefully at this size you are seeing, 2000KB or 2 mb can be viewed as 10,000 BYTES and 1mb is 5,000 bytes if I am not mistaken.

80kbps on how many Hz? I tried on 8000Hz and it was just a mess.

80kbps, Playback 44100hz, that's what I recommend :)

There is a program called DietMP3 that can lower the size of mp3's but for the cost of quality. Compressing it down a little to a lower bit rate wont affect the quality at all almost.

DietMp3 is not free though but you can use it for like 30 songs. Works well for me.
