Skins from my map

Here are some skins from the map I'm making for the xmas contest. Sure it doesn't look like much has changed... well it hasn't. But these are my first skins.

List o' Changes: (just so u notice )

Levitator (based on Sorceress skin)
==========================
* A few recolours
* Blouse changed , I wanted to make it look a bit like the blizzard concept art (too bad u can't see it in game)
* Gems in boots, for the same reason
* Embroidery on robe -- it's a crown, tho u can't see it here. It looks alright to me. I had to work in the alpha channel here!
* Removed stocking things
* Ring on finger (CnP)


Berserker (based on Bandit skin)
========================
* Recoloured beard
* Blood on axe -- looks cool, but again u cant see it here
* Blood on shield
* Coat changed to grey fur with no studs (mostly redrawn)
* Removed some wrinkles on the face
* Removed side burns
* Shield changed to metal (mostly redrawn)
* Shin pads changed to metal (mostly redrawn)

Yeah, these are pretty good. The metal effect on the shield does look like the type Blizzard would make. For a re-color, they look like they were ment to look that way.

Thanks. That's what i had in mind in making them.

Except for finishing the blouse & possibly doing new shoulder pads on the elf i think i'm done.

Any suggestions?

the hair has some some really great effects

both look very nice. especially the elf :P

And now for something completely different... i mean, an update!

(no list this time :D)

In this collage u can see a couple of the things I talked about before, plus the new shoulder pads - which didn't wrap properly :////. Still I think it turned out OK for a 5-10 minute effort. The face has had the makeup removed cause it looked too much like the original skin.


iceslushee -- I call the effect "recolour".

i think you need a better picture of the sorc's face. from this angle it looks like it has stubble!

lol! that's `cause it's dawn ....at dawn she under goes horrible transformations...

I don't need a pic of it tho cause I didn't make it. It's the high elf civilian face blended with the sorcs'. I only had to redo the hair strands and soften the edges. I figured there wasn't much point in redoing the face since it was already done for me (& I'm lazy if u cant tell).

I did the hair with the color to target retouch tool (PSP) & then changed the brightness/contrast. Took less time that it took me to write this.
