Where is Gaiascape?

I've checked every forum and can't find the Gaiascape forum any more. I want to download their Cityscape Drawbridge model, anyone know what happened to Gaiascape?

we were unhosted due to lack of activity. but you can see our work still at thehubb and worldedit.co.uk. unfortunately, i lost all the city scape models to corruption. none of the other GS members seem to have them, and rienless still hasnt managed to get an inpernet connection in his new house.

dor said he would send me a link to the archived forums, so that T666 and myself could access all the models in the private forum, but as of yet, i still havnt recived that link

also, rienless manages to get online now and then. hes informed me that dor agreed to restore the GS forums. however, this is also, has still yet to happen

Don't lie. I never said that to reinless and I'm pretty sure he didn't say it to you. I said I'm willing to restore it if he returns and wants to continue. He said he'd contact me in a week, so I'm waiting for that.

im not lying, perhaps you should consider that possability before you start acting too judgmental for your own good. i mearly informed everyone of what reinless told me


why can only reinless get the forums restored? we both run gaiascape. and work is continueing without him. if the worst happens, and he dosnt return, well still get the work done. gaiascape is running very effitiantly on modeling requests (mainly from Nas)

I don't know what he told you, but I clearly said I'd only put the forum back if he returns and wants to continue.



Reinless got the project hosted, so only he can do that. If you want to continue without him, reapply. You can read a hosting FAQ in Fladian's FAQ in the team discussion forum.

two possable outcomes. reinless returns and asks for project rehosting, gaiascape gets rehosted, and work continuses as normal

or, reinless dosnt return, i have to reapply the same project, then wait for for my application to go through, before getting the same forum back

isnt this just pointless red tape? both have exactly the same outcome, one being riddeld with beurocracy

No, it isn't bureaucratic, it's necessary. The project COMPLETELY died after reinless left. Hosting was dropped while the project was under your command. If I'm to restore it for you to lead it, I want to see what work YOU did after reinless left. It was reinless that kept the project going, I don't know if you can do the same.

EDIT: What makes you think the outcome is the same ? It's only the same if you, alone or not, can do what reinless did.

it didnt die, you saw no evidence of continued work (that was my fault for not posting the work on this site, and i freely admit that was my fault), but that dosnt mean that the project died. i was still collecting doodads rienless made prior to his leaveing, i was still getting dozens of new models through requests, and i was still terraining


the project was under joint command of reinless and myself, not just reinless. when reinless left, i was the only one left running the project, but as GS was at no point lacking a project leader, then why would that cause it to be unhosted? if you belive that reinless was the only reason the project kept going then would you care to explane why the project is still going sucessfully without him, and the GS ruins terrain (which dosnt use any of rienless models) is the highest rated pic in the art gallery, and we still have interest in GS across three forums?


GS is still getting the highest quality models, and still produceing terrain that demonstrates a good use of those models, so yes, GS is already doing what we did before reinless left

also, why is the private forum empty? without those threads, the models that reinless made cant be acessed, and many models will be lost if he dose not return
