ok this is weird I just tried and it doesn't work! I don't believe I haven't touch FPS Mod since the last patch... or maybe the patch was really long ago. It's just one or two tries on one computer, it's not conclusive, but it doesn't seem to work now, it always worked before. |

mabey its something with the patch, I haven't touched it much either since I got into doom3 modding |

You know what? I think it probably does have to do with the patch. Stoned's program automatically breaks after any patch that does more than a few bug fixes or balance changes. I'm not sure about tsearch. We might have to call up stoned (a momentous task unfortunately) and see what the fix is. In most cases, especially when war3 was patched more often, it was a simple matter of changing a small value and rebuilding the program. |

lol, trying to contact stoned is like trying to contact a deaf, blind, nervless man. and why does every new account have bad rep? do people give bad rep to people with low posts? |

Eek... maybe he'll just be kind enough to release the source code... well, up to him. Meanwhile, PROJECT CRISIS!! AH!!! |

It's just a quick rebuild. He vowed never to give out the source. When's the last time he talked in chat or posted on the forums? |

Hmmm... 6 months ago... but he logged in recently so I guess technically he's reachable -.- |

lol, someone gave me negative rep for saying that thing about stoned, but the thing is, I was just telling the truth, he never seems to be on so thats why I said that. If someone took offence for some reason please just tell me and I will edit it to say "is really hard to contact" |

I don't know what coward would do that, but anybody on the moderating team or administration knows very well that what you say is the truth. Even when I was admin and even when he was "on," he would still take ages to reply. He's nice and friendly, but just one of those people who's hard to reach when you need him most. |

if you guys reach him, tell him we are gonna stone him on the steps of a church if he dosent release the damn source. and tell him i got myself some big rocks. |

The source is his work, he is under no obligation to release his source, and as much as everyone would love to see the control program updated or its source code released, it is his decision, and even when it is released we aren't very sure about the longevity of it. And anyway Azumarril has released a modification to FPS Control that works. So I guess this means that it's possible to update it in the future without stoned doing it. |
