Attachments not showing?

If I click a thumbnail to open an attached picture it doesn't show up 9 times out of 10. I just see a page with nothing on it. What gives?

The news page said some stuff about how some of the attachments are probably screwed up after Draco worked at fixing the lingering problems with them.
