MPQ List File

Won't Cokie be more specifique? I cant barly find any of the files needed! Especailly that stupid MPQ List File and the imbecilique MPQ2K and especially that bloody ADNVACED WE!!!!!! :(

IF anyone know where to find these files then tell me. And if i see an other "avadiable in forums" thing then i will kill whoever wrote it!!!! :gfu:

for the advanced WE, use Scio UMS WE.
I guess the list file is comming with mpqview. If it doesn't, create a TXT file and add the following line to it:

(listfile)

The open the w3 MPQ using this new-created TXT and extract the (listfile).

Then rename (listfile) to war3-list.txtx and use it with mpqview.

And plz, try to write in a cleanner way so we can understand.

but where can i find this Scio UMS We?

My image extractor dosnt work because it dosnt have a cmndl.ocx file or somthing. The file is there, it came wit hthe extractor... Where else can i find an Image extractor that will work.
Sorry about the spelling, I am less frustrated now than i was so can write reasonably well for a 12 year old.

The mpq list file COMES with UMSWE!

the .w3m war3.mpq and war3patch.mpq filelists come with my editor, but if u use the newest WinMpq you dont need filelists

But you need the for MPQView which is a bit faster that WinMPQ (well 1.60 improved this a bit, but MPQView is faster). Anyway, is there a sourcecode available (of MPQView)? I mean the programmer hasn't changed anything since...lets see...1998. I think that is quite long (wonder that it works). Of course I know why it works. It uses only storm.dll functions.

Thx u guys, mabye i can find more files on these links. I have foind an advanced editor but am having trouble with it, when it lauches it says copying files from "blank" to (where i installed it). Then it just stops and does nothing... Mabye i should install it in the main directory. I 'm really chuffed that anyone actually shows any interest in me! thank u!

It wont install in main directory... I hate this!!! The moment i think i've got somthing that works it screws up!!! :( I mean is it just rudy luck?
