Orb Problems

I have a wierd problem with orb attacks. I have a building with a modified orb (of slow) which has the effect/ability of chain lightning. The wierd thing is, is that it only works if you tell the building to attack a specific unit. The building attacks units as they go by, but it doesn't chain lightning a unit unless you tell it to attack a specific unit. In addition, it used to work, I haven't worked on my map for a few months now, but the last time I played the map it worked fine. I know that there was at least one b-net update for TFT since I last played (and the orb last worked), is there any known problems with any of the orbs and one of the more recent updates? and if there isn't, does anybody know another reason why this could be happening?

Anyway I attached my map with the units pre-built, so that you could see it for yourself (or tell me I am delusional, or it's just my comp).

Oh yeah, I almost forgot, I created it using WEU so if you want to check it out in the world editor you might have problems, although you should be able to run it through warcraft.

There are no problems opening the map with the standard world editor. :god_help_us:

Seeing it in the world editor would be necessary to see what's possibly affecting your results. Can you disable the WEU-features and post a WE-friendly version?

Wow, I feel like a newbcake. The map that is posted doesn't have any advanced (WEU) triggers in it (I thought it did, but it doesn't) and can be opened by the normal map editor.

At the battle.net forums, some one posted a bug where orb of lighting item would only work if you told the unit to attack. Seems to be similar to what is happening here.
Brett(blizz guy), tried but could not replicate it.

The bug that that person found seems to be the one affecting me. I notice that 81 people have viewed my post, but only 2 have looked at my map. I'm really stuck on this and could use some help, so if any of you out there has time to take a look, it will be really appreciated.

I understand that you're new, but please do not post in threads that haven't had a post in them for such a long period of time.

Take a look through the rules, it's in there.

Anything over a two or three weeks gets annoying, two months is quite bad. Read the post dates. You should post your own thread on your problem, instead of necromancing an older one.
