Hey, I recently started with my newest map about two hours ago. So far I have terrain, terrain generating, multiboard, 25 levels and pathing done. So I need to start one the towers. But before I ask you all some questions, I will explain how the game works. -Basic 5 player TD -Each player has an area in which he can build in, if another player builds in an area not his own, that tower will be destroyed. If a player leaves, the area is free for anyone to build in -The terrain is generated randomly. The map starts out as all unbuildable terrain and within the 2 minutes before the first round starts, the terrain for each player will be determined. This prevents repetitiveness and keeps the game fun and challaging, also forcing players to come up with new starts. Now that you know the basics, I ask you all a few favors. The first is to vote in the poll in this thread on whether or not I should include random towers. The random tower system would work like this... -10 basic towers with now attacks. Level 1 Basic Tower, Level 2 Basic Tower, etc... -some # of attacking towers. These would include things like, fire, ice, poision, massive splash, lightning, arrow towers, etc... -3 basic hero towers, 1 meele, 1 caster, 1 ranged. -the meele would have the chance to be upgraded to 1 of 5 meele heroes and the same for caster and ranged. The next favor I would ask of you all is to give me some ideas or even create some wacky towers for this map. Thanks, sweet5 |

Guest | Doesn't sound too bad of an idea.... These towers should definately be included: -Melee -Anti-Air -Speed -Magic -Long Range Here are some wacky ideas: -A tower that summons a kamikazee flying sheep! They never include those... -A tower with immolation -A tower with 100% bash chance but really really high cooldown like 15 seconds or something Other stuff -Lightning towers should have bash -Ice towers should have some splash to them, same for fire You should also include some "traps" that are walkable and have an attack range of 20 or something and also ignore buildable terrain rule. |
