Dialog Buttons

Ok... I thought there was a tutorial somewhere in these forums, but I failed to locate it. I even searched through all of the old tutorials section.

I have no idea what I am doing with dialog buttons... I have tried to get the bloody things to work, but with no luck.

Can someone post a link to that tutorial or explain in detail how to use them?
