Another request (sorry) a skin

Sorry this is yet another request from me for my project.

I have made the character Sebastian for my RPG, its a geoset model thingy (actually Fredalf made it i tweaked, he was going to skin but he is missing...shame)

This is the model.

Arthas - Hyppogryphs tail as a ponytail (works really well!) - blood elf spell breakers shoudler pads - larger cape - naga fins on wrists

In addition a blademaster sword is replacing frostmoune, please do not skin this as the sword may not be used. A priest cape was also added...but doesnt work so i made the standard cape larger, the priests cape doesnt show up in game but cant be deleted because the model screws up please do not skin this.

---Description---
So what do i need you ask? Sebastian is a Dragon Knight donned it strong looking armour. This armour is red, blood red like the blood elves and a simmilar design (if worst comes to worst you can copy and paste blood elf armour....but i'd prefer it if not)

The hippogryps tail needs to be coloured to match his hair (the two "ribbons" either side the main tail can be left thier own colour) Hair can be blonde but im intrigued to see what it would be like brown, or soft blue. Hair isnst a major issue as long as it matches.

Cape can just be left as it is the solid red is fine, you can add a patern but the cape has been enlarged so it may stretch and look wierd.

The Naga fins need to be skinned to look like red armour (kinda like ornamental red armour fins rather than fish fins)

Shoulder pads can be made red to match armour or remain gold.

MAJOR PROBLEM: As this is a geosetted model i am unsure how you will skin it, if its impossible please say so calmy rather than something along the lines of
"f**king Noob p**s off you no nuffink" lol. I have attached the model file...tell me what you need if you need more.

I also attached some concept.

Thank you very much for doing this

I'd almost given up hope someone was going to do it.

Anyways i do have a problem (rep is on your way anyway for doing this anyway dotn worry)

I imported my model and the skins...but the skins don't show up on the new model or for that matter the original models. (i put an arthas hyppogryph and naga on the map but they didnt change either)

Import the blp then put the path right?

Can you help or am i making a noobish mistake (havn't imported skins for some time lol)

step by step:

Make a folder, put in the mdx, then in the new folder make these folders as well: textures, units. I the units folder make another folder named Naga, and in that, make another folder NagaMyrmidon.

In the textures folder put in Arthas.blp and Hippogryph.blp. In the folder NagaMyrmidon, put in the NagaMyrmidon.blp.

(I dont hink that this matters but try it anyways)

Open Import Manager (or wtf it was...), then import the skins, put in the Path in the corresponding file. Then it should work.

It works fine for me...

Dang it looks pretty good. Oh, and by the way, I took the liberty to scale down the sword for it not to be in the ground. Do you want the MDX?

And finally... Do you model?

soz i couldnt reply sooner my computer is hacked and the harddrive truely and utterly buggerd (got a new one today but need to put it in and reformt stuff, luckily i managed to save all my stuff *phew*) im on my dad's pc at the mo.

Ill try the mdx/skin thing as soon i get my computer up and running, i was just bunging the skins in any old folder so thats probobaly why it didnt work ^^

Don't worry bout the sword (although feel free to post it ill download it when i can and see how it looks) because sebastian will change his sword during the course of the game, but if your mini-sword looks ok ill save it as a seperate geoset and use it ^^

I don't model persay. Fredalf (as i said) made the geoset for me i just "tweaked" it a bit. But with my lack of knowledge (and the fact im using oinkertools) if i try to remove the priest's cape (which dont show up anyway) the model doesnt work properly. My knowledge of modeling is not very good, i can pretty much scale and move things i can't even geoset properly (although i could read the tutorial i guess). Can you model? *hopeful eyes*
