Here we have another contest for all you out there who want to test your skills against other artisits on the forum. The focus of this contest will be to draw the most original and cool wepon. It can be anything from a gnarled stick to a battle axe. Points will be given for origionality and coolness. Colouring is also a bounnus ten points, shading is plus 5 and there will be many other things that will give you points, but i'll update that later. There will be a 3 week deadline as this isn't such a big thing to draw. You can have the option of adding a background to your wepon but DO NOT ADD ANY PEOPLE OR MONSTERS OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT! Hope lots of cool wepons will be seen and anyone who enters has a good time. Angel |

weapons are too easy but will you grade "appearence" or "actual purpose"? cuz ive seen weapons with all these spikes that are pointless other than to look good |

~_~ add me, not hard, not time consuming, pure creation, im in... gonna start that while my World of Warcraft patch is downloading, im on creative fire today and ill use a non-conventional method... Graphist style!!! gonna sketch 20 weapons and see what i can come with then remake it to look good and clean |

Do i have to say that i take part or can i only post my drawing before teh deadline?! dont now if i have time and what my work will look like..?! But i would like to compete... :god_help_us: |

Ladys calm down please... Now thats over i'll get to some more info on the judging. There will be several ways to earn points and i'll list em up here. Purpose: How good a job will your wepon do. Will it really wanna make the poor target of the wepon wanna run home to mommy or just smash you back with his oversized cleaver? There will be a possible 10 points here. Complex: Is it a simple axe or a complex gadget of destruction? 5 points to get here. Overall look: Self explanitory title, 10 points here. Originality: How original is the design? 5 points here. Colouring: Shading, choise of colours ect, 10 points. Detail: How detailed is the wepon? 10 points here. So the person with the highest score wins, and you may only submit ONE wepon. And all entrys posted here before the deadline will be judged. Angel |
