Changing Map Size?

Is there a program that allows you to change an already made map to a larger size? I have already started a map, and made some progress, but now I want to expand the size. Is there any way to do that? Also, is vexorian's 1.18 WEU patch going to fix the unlimited patch? I also need a unlimited map size/tile patcher. Thanks in advance!

Extending size: copy and paste your terrain to a new, larger map
1.18 no-limits patch: uluru might update it again if you're lucky
Unlimited map size/tile patcher: not going to happen

Sorry for sounding n00bish (I am one though) but how do I copy and paste terrain?

Also, what are the chances of the no limits patch getting made?

You switch to the terrain layer and then to selection mode (by hitting space). Now draw a rect over the terrain you want to copy and use the command edit/copy respectively paste to cnp.
