Stuffs I did some time ago and which I forgot to post the stone elemental is just an early WIP. It's a face sculpted on a cliff, and which is awaking by the magic of runes. |

For the enviro, I would suggest to clean up some of the rocks in the water as they are randomly placed and if you put them in clusters instead it could really help the picture out. The blue face has really sharp features bringing something out a little too much. This is extremely obvious on the nose. I think you should get rid of the lines on there and make the top of the nose a little softer. Look at some reference for the shape of the nose because its a little off (might wanna check some ref for eyes and mouth too). In the portrait the face, by its shape, is clearly facing slightly to the side, while the mouth and nose are shaped as though he were looking straight at you. |

I really like that blood elf :) Especially the armors design and how you've done it. The look on his face looks funny though but I guess you knew that with the "grrr damn hands and face!" comment x) Looks like his spaced out a bit or something. Still, I thinks the blood elf is the best pic I've seen from you, well my favorite atleast :] edit. Also might be me and my crooked eyes, but I think his right side shoulderpad is a tad too low. Oh and if you didn't know, a good way to see mistakes in your own drawings is to flip the image horizontally. :) |

Best pic of mine? Well, when it'll be finished and colored, maybe. But I think my other colored drawings are better, for example that pandaren or the warden. thanks for the advices. I'll take that in account. |

Well not maybe the best as in effort and how you've done it, but best as in my own personal favorite :) Keep it up. |

Something I'm working on atm. WIP!! Done entierly with photoshop, with a mouse since I don't have a tablet. |
| 04-28-2005, 12:22 PM | #15 |
Must have taken forever with a mouse :p just some things I noticed :) her left eye is a bit higher than the right, the nose and the mouth aren't in the middle of the face. The other cheek is a bit bigger than the other too. If it's a slight sideview, I guess the eyes are misplaced then. Did you do the hair with the smudge tool? looks like it atleast x) I'd prefer a hair done without smudgin but that's up to you, and I can imagine working with a mouse :S Oh and if you're interested, I found a link at CGtalk that has some stuff about skin tones. -> Here <- |
