Well here is a new RP. Only its different.

The story is going to be about and revolve around a single battle between the humans and orcs. ONLY HUMANS AND ORCS! NO OTHER RACES! You can make up any thing else you want.

If your character is not in the battle then your character is not in this thread.

We will continue this thread untill either the humans or orcs emerge victorious.

For characters just describe everything you want to.

I have attatched what the battle ground looks like.

RULES: Dont be an asshole and just say "my hero is uber! we win!". Ive done this before and it takes COOPERATION!

NAME: Bruce Knightheart
CLASS: 2nd Captain
RACE: Human
SPECIALTY: Leadership, Courage
BIO: Join to see how strong he could become.

---------------------------------

Captain Knightheart had been marching in secret for five days. His group near dense trees and brushes. A pile of rocks stood out from its surroundings. He heard that there were spies near here. He hoped to prove them right.

As he neared, his men started to worry. His gut told him something. War had been his life for three now. He knew his gut told him trouble was close.

He reached for his sword, but before he did, sounds of death surrounded him. He turned and saw orcs around him. They carried curved blades and were lightly equipped, perfect for spies. Only him and two others remain. There were six of them, and his team of nine had fallen to three.

He knew he either live or die. He reached for his sword and readied what few men remained. He shouted to his men, "If we go to hell, let's bring these dogs with us." The orcs moved in, and now Captain Knightheart could finally see how strong he had become.

yay

------------------------------------------

Nazgath continued to march with the rest of the troops. But something was caught out of the side of his eye. He told the rest to go ahead as he took 3 others to investigate with him. What they saw was a knight on his horse taking down notes and looking around, he spotted the 3 grunts first. He grabbed his sword and charged at the grunts. Muttering a few words Nazgath set the knight aflame. The knight only yelled as this happened. He continued to fight the grunts. He chopped off ones arms then knocked down the other two.

Nazgath panicked. But right before the knight was able to land a blow on Nazgaths robed body his body gave in to the fire and collapsed infront of him. The lesser wounded orc was sent out to run and catch up with the troops, he would send back a wolf rider to help the two wounded orcs. But Nazgath has other thoughts.

Before summoning a fire elemental that would hold up untill the wolf rider came to protect the two wounded orcs Nazgath jumped onto the knights horse and rode off toward the fortress. He forgot something. His staff.

DON'T START POSTING NOW! please wait until we have more people.

I will post ASAP once you answer me this question:
Since, in both wow and wc3, orcs and humans each consisted of 3 races, could we be one of them, because I want to be a troll.

Listen to me: Orcs and humans are basically the same thing. A race with fihgitng skill and little magical prowess. (some are good, but elves and trolls beat them easily.)

Blizzard made the three races for each because of the fact that it acts as a trinity. three parts:
MAGIC trolls/elves ( the trolls and tauren represent most of the magical/ranged units for both races respectively.)
STRENGTH dwarves/ tauren (some of the most powerful units on both sides are dwarven or tauren.)
BOTH

This where I'd have to disagree with you Xiash. Lets do a run down of the units in WarCraft 3 and then the classes that humans and orcs can be in World of WarCraft.

WarCraft 3
Humans

Peasant- This guy has got to be reasonbly strong enough so that he can do all that manaul labor.
Footman-The backbone of the human army, this guy is strong as well.
Knight-A sheild in one hand and a sword in another all while riding a horse takes a lot of strength and skill.
Archmage-A very powerful spellcaster riding a horse, what more could you want.
Paladin-Very strong as well with holyness backing him.

Also if we check some WarCraft lore here's what we get:
Quote:
The elves found that although humans were innately clumsy in their handling of magic, they possessed a startling natural affinity for it.

Orcs
Peon-This guy falls under the same category as the peasant
Grunt-Unbelievably strong
Raider-So strong that he does significant damage against buildings
etc...

If you notice in WarCraft lore that Orcs are shamanistic, that is a lot differant than magic.

World of WarCraft
Humans

Classes are- Mage, Paladin, Priest, Rogue, Warrior, Warlock all clases that require strength or magic.

Now lets take a look at those Elves that you say are the suprior magic casters.
Classes-Druid, Hunter, Priest, Rogue, Warrior Hmmm only one really is a magic class, priest. Druidism is much differant than magic in WarCraft lore.

Dwarves are in fact very strong so I'll have to let you take this one but in none of their racial traits do they have something that makes them stronger.

Orcs
Classes-Hunter, Rogue, Shaman, Warlock, Warrior Only one magic class, warlock, the rest are strength classes or shamanistic.

Lets look at those Tauren that are the "stronger guys" Druid, Hunter, Shaman, Warrior only two out of the four are strength based, the other two are entirely differant.

Now lets take a look at those trolls that have some magic Hunter, Mage, Priest, Rogue, Shaman, Warrior Only two out of six are magic based classes and none of the trolls racial traits are beneficial to magic.

Your logic that Orcs and Humans are the same is completly wrong and comparing their magic and strenght to other races is wrong as well.

Um, thik about what you are saying. and i mean HIGH ELVES not night elves.

Elves

Spellbreaker: very powerful magic unit. can controlunits and can defeat other spellcasters.
Sorceress: a neccessity, they can slow units and can polymorph strong ones.
Priest: Heals, need I say more?
Dragonhawk rider: very powerful aerial unit, good at taking out cities.

Dwarves
Rifleman: Very good ranged fighter with lots of upgrades
Mortar team: Very good basic seige unit. Has lts of upgrades and can take out mutliple things at once.
Steam engine: Levels bases easily.
Flying machine: Great at attacking all kinds of units and has many good upgrades.
Gryphon rider: Great flyer unit with many special skills.

Human units:
Peasant: worker.
footman: basic unit, never should be useind in higher levels of combat.
Knight: powerful ground unit. Only human one.

THERE ARE LESS HUMAN UNITS THAN ELVES OR DRWAVES!!!!

Trolls

Headhunter: great ranged unit for all purposes, even after you need stronger ones, they upgrade to a higher level as beserkers.
Witch doctor: Good caster, can help as a spy with sentry wards and also has many toher very useful moves earlier on.
Batrider: Great flying unit, much better than wyvern.

Tauren:

Tauren: awesome unit for leveling things.
Spiritwalker: great caster, can rez heros and can turn coporeal to do combat.

Orcs in this case are ok, but still they would suck without trolls and tauren. accoridng to lore the orcs, when alone, were defeated and put into camps where they rotted away. Now with trolls and tauren, theya re a great race.

In World of WarCraft Human characters can do all of these things, be they priests, paladins, mages or warlocks.

All of these, excluding the Gryphon rider use mechanical devices to fight not what I would clasify as strength. The steam engine is also of Gnome design =P

With the newer changes to a footman ability, block is the name I believe, they have become very become very usefull end game with the ability to reflect attacks back at their foes.

Only in the game, this is a role playing thread you can make things up. In Dungeons and Dragons, there are some classes but Dungeon masters make up their own anyways.

This is a matter of opinion, the bat rider is more of a scout unit, much less hp. The Wyvern rider is very strong and can strong. Both legitimate units, both very good in large numbers, like most units.

Now this point is just dumb, the Orcs in WarCraft 1 and 2 had Demons and Trolls on their side, they rotted in camps because the combined might of the humans, dwarves, night elves, and high elves beat them down and the Orcs riped apart their homeworld.

The Orcs were not alone and they rotted in camps because their homeworld was destroyed.

THE !#@$! NIGHT ELVES NEVER FOUGHT THE ORCS DURING 1 AND 2!!!!

THEY WERE IN ASHENVALE WAITING!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And also, I really do not care. If I hvae to be a human or and orc, I don't like humans and orcs, so I won't be one.
