How do u get a unit u have created into warcraft 3 so u can use the unit in a map editor like WE unlimited?

You can't "get it into Warcraft 3". The unit you have created will stay in the map you made him in. But you can copy it and paste it into another map.

If you're using 3ds max 4.2 or 5/5.1, then I recomend you use the Art Tools (available at wc3sear.ch). If you're using 3ds max 6 or 7, then use some importing/exporting custom scripts, but I'm not too familar with those. Ask BlinkBoy about them.

I found a part of the site that says how to do it i am just getting stuck on changing unit value... i have been searching and searching its just lost to me.

what do you meen by changing the unit value.....give me some more info on what your doing as....did you make this model from scratch? or is this a modification. To get your models out of max 6 and 7 and gmax you use dex script to export the file to an mdl format. After you have the mdl file you gotta do some editing to the file as in adding the skins path and so forth. Then you use yogbuls file converter to get it from a mdl format into an mdx format which will then be game ready and placeable in the world editor.
