Im making a battleships map and everytime the spawn starts, the units stay there O_o I specifically made them attack after the spawn and a trigger that makes them attack the other base. Unfortunately, they dont! I even tried using the AI editor and disabled the things that make units flee and crap! WHAT AM I DOING WRONG PLZ HELP ME!!! |

What player is the owner of the spawned units?.....When i made something kinda lie what i think ur making i had it set to Neutral Hostile and the units would do what they were suppose to, so i find ti best to create a computer player or just use a player that ins't in the game if you get what i mean. |

I made player one and two computer. Both of them have units spawning on their sides and they have to come to the other player's base to attack. But they keep running home so im like omfg! |

The reason they run home normally is because they can't find there way, due to blockadge of pathes normally. The easiest way to fix this is to set up multiple regions on the way there to make it so that the distance isn't as far. This could also catch ones that turn around. Lets say this is your path x----------x with the x's being the bases. Set up some regions on the way that they should go to to help them get there. Maybe like this. x---o----o---x with the o's being new "checkpoints" for them to stop at. Your movement triggers should be basically the same except you should change the destination that they are attack moving to the next "checkpoint," and adding in some new triggers of course for each "checkpoint." Either that or have a very long region that goes throughout one lane telling them to attack move to the designation periodictly. I'm not sure of the realibility of this one though. I hope this helped. |

Guest | one more thing.. the AI of the computer will make them flee when they are too weak, the "home" place its the start location, move it to the destination and they will not flee back, they will battle until die or will try to run to the start location, if they are already in there (or too close) they will not flee :D |
