increasing hero abilitys above lvl3

hey all, is there anyway to increase hero abilitys above the 3 levels? ive seen a few maps with 4 lvls b4 and there ultimates have 2 lvls. cheers ^_^

In the object editor, under the "abilities" tab, search for the spell that you wish to have more levles, and then modify the "stats - levels" field to how many levels you want the spell to have.

so could i have like 20 levels? then or is there a limit? thx again btw *gives rep*

No limit I believe (except maybe 2 billion or 2^n)

i dont no if 2 billion is enough for the map im making, lol thx ppl!

actually ive just raised the level to 10 as a test, but there sonly 4 levels worth of tool tips, should th ere be 10 now i selected 10, or is 4 the max and the ability jsut contiues as normal but with an out od date tool tip?

Your ability can have as many levels as you want, the editor should give you all the appropriate fields for the tooltips on all levels, they are just empty by default (because by default, your skill didn't have that many levels). Just copy the text from one of the already existing tooltips for the first four levels to the new tooltips and change the values to fit the stats of the spell at that level, there, you have the tooltips for that level now as well.

You should also add new lines to the "learn" tooltips.

uhh all ya gotta do is go to the unit editor and go to the abilities tab. then from from there select your ability and there should be something like... "stats - levels" and just change the number.

Max level is 100

Yeah, but really, who is gonna go over that? 100 is a good amount. Actually, come to think of it, you might need more than 100 on maps like Enfo's where your hero's max level is 200.
