intergrating a ice map into a forest map

hi currently my map is all foretry and the next part of my map/terrain im doing up atm requires a set base to b in the snow/ice how woudl i go about intergrating the 2 types of terrain in my map without making it look cheap

p.s im not asking how to add diff terrain tiles :D thx for all your help

hmm, the only thing you could do is go to tools>change tileset. then check custom tileset and find the thing you like.

or you could get UMSWE so that you can have more tile sets. :D

hehe i know how to use use custom terrain what i meant was how woudl i implement the 2 together going from a forestry setting into a snowy ice one? on the same map without it looking silly lol i know its a hard queston to answer, but thx anyway for the input

Maybe using pictures of tundra (of the web) as a basis? Tundra has a sort of forest-ice feel to it, maybe using images as a refrence you could recreate the look?
