Guest | Has anyone created a trading card map? And I don't mean the MTG maps that make you build buildings which spawn units. I mean a map that lets you create a deck and battle people. If not, I might give it a shot. I need to figure out how a person would have a deck, and you would need to be able to save. Would probably use some sort of variable array (20 or however big the decks would be) to store the cards. |

not that i know of. and i dont think ur talking about like poker td. ur saying something like one of them "pokemon" things with cards(am i right or wrong?). anyway it sounds like u could make a good idea out of it. like u start with so much money and u buy the cards you want to make up a however many card deck(i suggest more than 20 cuz what happenes if the game goes longer than 20 cards? ur screwed lol) than it shuffles em and deals randomely to ur hand or something like that. i think this would be a pretty good game. if you need any help just ask |

Guest | Reminds me of the Yu Gi Oh Card Duels on starcraft. The only thing...Pegasus was cheap and Team Up never worked. It should be possible, if it worked on Starcraft. |

Yea you'll need like a model for the cards not the exactual card but just a blank card and if its Yugioh than have like a monster jump out of it like in the show |

Guest | Yeah, hmm or maybe just give your "duelist" 5 random items. and then if it's the players turn he/she may use an item and then it will create a monster/effect. Obviously 6 cards will be the max each player can hold (which makes sense) and each turn just randomly give the player a card. ~!Piece |

That's a good idea. As for the 20 cards being not enough thing, atleast in Magic: The Gathering the first player to not be able to draw a card loses. |

It would be extremely short, but I guess i'll help but it should be around 30 cards. Maybe someone can model a face up card and then it wil have a multiboard that keeps track of the time and stuff and we can make it based of warcraft 3 caharacters and when you win a game it gives both players a random card from at least everything (includign rarity like heroes from warcraft 3 could have a smaller chance to get. Then you get to decide whether you keep the card and switch it with a card in your deck which then gets discarded and it gives you a save code and nullifies your old one so noone will cheat in the game?? How about it if it were like that then hall ya ill join!!! |

Guest | its a great original idea, i was goin to do something like it awhile back but i got sidetracked by the other map im working on, i was goin to make it more rpg style, so it isnt just, players vsing eachother 1on1 over and over, make a whole world they can explore, different areas use slightly different rules, have different cards. players could travel the warcraft universe collecting cards, |

Help? I'm not starting anything. It was just an idea. I have been getting lazy with WE lately so I couldn't do it. If I ever made it you would be able to travel a 256x256 map and collect cards. Edit: After thinking about this for a while, I decided I'll do it. |
