I created a new mpq file, imported all the map stuff from my old map and saved it has a TFT map but War3 doesn't even see the game. Yes its saved in the map folder in the War3 directory. How do I make a mpq file readable by Warcraft 3? |

Surely it would be more prudent for you to open up the map file and add the art files to it, instead of the other way around? |

no can do cuz of the total imported file limit. I have like over 3000 files to import |

I would have thought using an MPQ tool to open the map archieve (.w3x) and then adding the files would circumvent the limit imposed in the editor...... |

if you try to import files directly into the map's mpq in stops allowing files to be added at 64 so i had to create a new mpq with a file limit of 9000 but the hex of the new mpq is different from the map's hex |

Okes i did some research. Apparently using the import manager there is no limit because it rewrites the archive with a bigger hashtable whenever it reaches a limit (64, 256, 512 etc) Now at this stage i honestly dont know why you cant use the import manager. I tested it myself and just imported 137 random files to a map, it worked.... Are you sure you actually tested properly your attempted import of 3000 files? |

After you import 64 icons, they stop showing up when you try to use them. |

I figured out that it was caused by me using WE Enhancer to import all my icons. |
