I have some questions about water: 1. Can units besides the Naga and sea creatures use "Submerge"? 2. Is it possible to make different water levels instead of "shallow" and "deep"? 3. How do you make items or doodads float, like the boats? 4. Can you change the "flow" of water? It's always flowing in the same direction, even if it's a stream. 5. How do you put shallow or deep water on cliffs without making the terrain level -2? 6. Will the water color change according to what tileset I'm using? Can I change the water's color whenever I choose to? That's it. I appreciate the help you guys. |

I'll answer what i can: 2) No, but you can use raise and lower terrain to get diffrent depths. 3) Go to the Object Editor and go to the object you want to float. Scroll down and you should see "Editor - Does Float" and it should be marked as false. Just change it to true and the object should float. 4) Water always flows in the same direction. To the bottom right corner of the map... 5) Go to Advanced and uncheck Enforce Water Hight Bounfdary or something to that effect. Its on the bottom. Just be careful as the when you make long streches of water, it will look like the waters not the the cliffs edge... 6) Yes, water color changes with tileset. Just go to map options and chage the water tint. That will partially change the water. It's a little more complicated if you want, say, Felwood's green water in a dungeon map. I've seen maps that change water color with triggers... Hope this helps and correct me if I'm wrong. Iwrote this of the top of my head so the specifics might be a little off. |

For the first question I don't believe it is possible to give non-naga units the submerge ability without adding in extra animations, as this is the case with burrow. |

Go to Scenario -> Map Options. Enable water tinting and you can change the color there. Pretty sure this is a TFT option though. |

Your right. However, you cannot change the waters color. You can only tint it to a degree. Try making the dungeon water for example, yellow. Its base color is red. It would be nearly immpossible to get that desired effect. You would have to import the tileset you want on top of the desired water's tileset. |

You're right, but on some terrains it is much easier. In the village tileset I had no problem setting the water to a green color. |
