wow that tutorail really overcomplicates things.

1.i use adobe photoshop and when i convert the image size i cant use pixels so i cant get the right size.
2.i dont know how big it should be cos i he is using another programme
3.make it into 4 diffrent files and then make them back into 1

its just to much for 1 image get exact pixel size and then make 4 freehand copies only to merge them into one again not to mention they all have to be same pixel size when i cant mesurse it in pixels jesus thats way to much i cant get past step 1 cos of pixels. and all the other steps i dont understand anyway. you think blizzard would make it much much easyier just import a file and click it or something thats to much fuck that idea.

Just merge those 4 images u want into one. Edit it in MS Paint by going: Image>Attributes and setting the size to:1024x768 (in pixels of course). If MS Paint cant handle that stuff then..oh well ^_^

its not that i dont want to do it cos its too hard i dont want to doit cos its overcomplicated for no reason why cant it be simplier 1 reason cos blizzard cant be fucked

edit>aloso i just tried it again and when i crop something it is nothing like your screen shot when i crop something and click crop the normal window i have of my image closes and only the cropped image stays then i have to open the image up againa dn guess where i should crop and repeat that 2 times why isnt it simpler? also the only programme i have that can crop is the one that cant measure in pixels and it doesnt tell me when its 512 or anyhing how did u know your crop swere exactly that?<edit

No one is going to make it simpler. That's the way you import a loading screen.

i know i have got my loading screen but it still leaves a bitter taste knowing they made it complicated on purpose for no reason thats all.

It is complicated in many eyes. But that is the way it has to be done. Feel proud that you can do it, and other people can't.

Actually, someone has made it simpler. Here is a link to another tutorial which uses a custom loading screen model that only requires a single .blp texture.
