Guest | Hey all, I was just wondering if its possible to create a moving ship? Not just a stationary doodad? I searched around on the forums and I found a couple of ship-related threads but none of them explained how to actually get them in the unit layer and place them in-game as actual units. Would appreciate any help thanks again |

Well there is a premade ship in the Northrend Tileset, under neutral units. You will want to change the ships properties, more then likely to flying, also change the flying height. Then you will more then likely want to restrict the ship movements with Boundaries. |

i think u can also make a flying unit with the model of the doodad ship, you would need an enhanced editor to change the model path of the unit. |

if you don't want people selecting it i geuss you could reduce the selection scale. And for the ship itself, use the northend one. |

Guest | Another thing you might try is using the Ogre Juggernaught, it should be unlocked when you unlock the StarCraft models. You may also want to try editing the skins, to make them look how you want, and resizing is easy. If you're particularly daring,:ggani: you may even want to try editing the model itself. On the other hand, I haven't tried this yet myself, but have given it some thought, so these are just theories. |
