ages of war campaign

i need many people to help making a warcraft project called: Ages of War: Battle of Warlords

this is the story:

Story:
50 years before Warcraft I: Orcs and humans a big war is unleashed between the Trolls of Angshore and the Humans of Azeroth.

You, a goblin Warlord from Demaghôn, the homeland of the Goblins, are a mercenary and you must find a way to survive in these ill times. The only way to do this is to pick a side, ore you choose for the cannibalistic Trolls, who live in the south of Azeroth near Stranglethorn Vale. Ore you choose for the renegade humans, who live in Stormwind, the big stronghold keep of Azeroth...

Gameplay:
Regardless witch side you choose, you have to fulfil a curtain amount of quests to gain favour from your “bread master�.

Each side has at least 5 quests from witch 2 are big ones.

there must be atleast 3 maps:

- stormwind
- elwynn forest
- strangelthorn vale

people i need:
- trigger people (2x)
- modelers (3x)
- cinematograph (1x á 2x)

You're asking for 3 modelers? What do you need to model anyways? There are plenty of Troll models at Wc3search. You'd be lucky to come across one modeler. Give us more info on the story, at the moment it;s barely enough to even call it a story. Have you done anything yet? What are you planning on doing? Don't just come up with an idea and post it, atleast make an attempt to do some work yourself, people don't want to join a project with no progress made.

Sorry that sounded a bit harsh, don't whine about. It bothers me seeing so many people post things like this, so improve it before it gets closed (Fladian ;) )

Doin my own little Warcraft project, solo. Called Shadows.
Anyway, on topic.


Dont worry your project doesnt sound bad to me, but you should be a little more organised and be more specific perhaps. Why 3? A bit exaggerated.
Perhaps more storyline patching up.

Whatever you do do not give up, just minimize the scale of your project and do what you can. THEN perhaps have some people patch it up for you.

Personal experience. Fladian can vouch for that - he knows some of my attempts anyway. ;)

Age of War: Clash of the Warlords

hi everybody,

This project is a campaign playing during the Age of the Warlords, witch plays of 100 years before Warcraft I in the lands of Dreanor, the red world. In this RPG I hope to let you play in a story of an Orc called Manòth who leads the remaining members of the Burning Blade clan.

Story:
With having destroyed all what's left of the Dreanei cities, the Orcs of the Moon Blade clan returns to their citadels just beneath the lair of Ungunioth, the spider lord of the south border. After a big journey back to their home a mystic looking wizard, called “Undoone,'' and master magician of the dreanei people sees the forces rampaging within the mysterious “seeing stone.� With hate he looks trough his ball and then he curses the forces of the orcs to never be a whole party again and always be divided in three. . .

3 months have past since the curse was unlocked and a big war raged over the lands of the Skeleton waste lands just beyond where once the gate of darkness, better called the Dark Portal will stand.

At that very day, when the war unleashed, a son was born, Gul'mor, future father of Gul'dan, the famous warlock of old. He, at a very young age became the leader of the Shadowmoon Clan, one of the clans that split in three. . .

After years of war one of the three clans, the three hammer clan, was destroyed, and only a handful of warriors were left alive, giving themselves the name of the Burning Bladers witch later was changed in the Burning Blade clan. These vile orcs were known as the most fearsome warriors of whole Dreanor. They were very good at using blade weapons and so where called the Blade Masters.

Most of the burning bladers leaved the south border and went to what now was called the Unknown Mountains where they lived for several years. After having lived here for a while a young warrior magician called Manòth, son of the leader of the outcasts, was searching for food with some hunters and then plots falling into a trap witch brought him to a mysterious tower. With great curiosity Manòth wandered the tower while trying to reach the top on an endless staircase. . .
At last he made it. At the top he saw a strange figure turning himself around. . .

From here the campaign starts, more of the ideas I have for the story I will not yet reveal. I hope you got an idea of how the campaign is going to look like.



These are the most important characters playing in the Age of War story:

Name: Manòth
Small Biography: Manòth is a young warrior with the age of ten, when he was bourn he was gifted to be a talented mage. But with to his father swearing to be his follower, he never trained in the arts of magic. He only trained in what he thought was good for his people, being a warrior.
Gender: Male

Name: Boroghi
Small Biography: Boroghi is the leader of the survivors of the clan where he once was a great general of the war arts. Now he's an old man who is wise and leads his men to a victories future. . .
Gender: Male

Name: Undoone
Small Biography: Little is known about this strange and mysterious old wizard. . .
Gender: Male

Name: Asharan
Small Biography: Asharan is a well trained and talented druidess of the Shadowmoon Clan, she takes care of all the wounded and is the chosen one to lead her people next to Agnash, second son and older brother of Gul'dan. But when she falls in a forbidden love with Manòth she must choose here path, will she be the next generation queen? Ore will she side with her fathers enemies. . .

These are the main characters. Of course there are still other characters but these are the main ones.

I hope anyone of you like the thought of this and if you got good idea's for my/our project will you please send me them ore if you like to join my team you're welcome.

I will only start making the campaign when there are at least 3 persons to aid me in the project.

You can still send me a message trough here ore via Personal Mail (PM) in the second 2 weeks.

I already got 1 member still unknown to the public who will much like will do the voice acting.

If anything is not clear yet ore you want me to tell you more about the project just PM me ore write in this thread.

Of course if there are any volunteers that want to help me you could also do the same of course. . .

P.S. I personally will make the terrain and most parts of the triggers myself, i only need the help of some more advanced trigger people for more hard parts, model makers for the burning blade clan, skinners for the models and advanced terrainers to aid me in making this campaign possible.

I would really appreciate it if anyone could help me in this because in my own i won't make this!

Soon i will add some pictures of the camp of the remaining Burning Bladers (where you will begin your quest)

If you are looking for a team, you should post this in the Team gathering forum. Nevermind now, I'll just move this thread there for you.

However, now that it's there, you will need to read Fladian's Project/Team Discussion FAQ and update the thread a bit. You already have a nice description of the storyline, that's good, however, you may need to be more precise on what help do you need, exactly. Another thing, people are a bit sceptical in these parts, so you should just start working on a map, doesn't matter if it's just a small starting cinematic or some experimentation with quests or whatever, just show everybody you mean business by posting a screenshot. That way people will be more interested to join your project, and you have better chances of completing it. It is important that you know that a team is there to help you, not do all the work for you, and it's even more important that you show everybody that you know that.

by the way, i got one new member that joined my team, he will mostly do the soun effects and terrain!
