Here's my diary type story attempt. It's going to be a long and properly twisted o.O; I'll be adding sections every time inspiration strikes.

Right now it seems like a standard boring story, don't worry wierd stuff will happen. Muahahaha!!!

It seems like an amazing coincidence to me that I managed to find this artifact and then only two revolutions later found a ... "pen", I believe they call it. Maybe I can use this as a sort of log device. No matter how sophisticated technology gets there will always b someone who can bypa s the sec rity.

I decided to buy a diary today. Maybe when I look back onto things that I've written before, I will trigger older memories of past times... Well thats the plan anyways, although I don't know what I'm going to write in here.

Today was boring as usual. I went to school. I learned nothing. I never learn anything at school. It's a waste of my time. I talked to my friends. I zoned out. At lunch, Sean was being crazy, as usual. He almost took a 5$ bet to start breakdancing in the middle of the cafeteria. Naturally though, Mr. Conner was watching. It's like he has eyes in the back of his head. Maybe he does.

I walked home. The trees watched me... huh?? Why did I just write that? I don't know. My mind goes in odd directions when I'm not paying attention to it.

I can't believe my amazing good fortune, but I have found another "pen" that I can inscribe "letters" into this artifact, in the hopes that maybe what I write here will be found by...someone. I am certain I am the only one that can read this ancient text, at least on this planet, so my log is safe, at least for now.

I suppose that I am supposed to write what has happened to me today. Nothing really happened; at least nothing of importance. Artifacts are still being found at a consistent rate. Thin oxidized sheets have been found in abundance. Occasionally words can be read on them, but it is uncertain of their true use. In addition to these, things like long pieces of metal, and some lightweight material called "wood". We also are finding several thousand green rectangular sheets. They possess a very detailed inscription, and it's to anyone's guess what this civilization used them for.

My best find was of course this artifact. It is filled with white sheets onto which I can make inscriptions on with "pens", and I've heard something about "pencil" but no one has unearthed such an artifact, yet.

This diary is neat. It's like talking to someone, except I don't have to actually admit anything because I'm just writing the stuff down. It's a nice way to get it off my conscious.

Well, what do I have to say today? Not much. School is boring. I don't understand why we have to do the same thing every year. You'd think we would have learned it by the 2nd year, but that's not what they think.

Sean managed to stand on his head for a good 10 minutes during recess. He got a lot of wierd stares.

Well, there are two things that make school less boring: there's Sean of course...and... there's this girl that... well... I don't trust this diary enough yet to tell it everything...

I think I dropped a pen today. Oh big deal you might be thinking, but I really did like that pen. I hope it goes to a good use...

The first entry sounds so similar to 1984 it's not funny.

Anyways, this was ok I'm getting sort of tired of these journal entry type stories, but oh well what am I going to do. The end of the first entry was very difficult to understand, which was the point but still very annoying.

Overall I'll give you a 6/10, it's semi-interesting.
