i dun know crap bout skinning plz help!

Ello ppl that decided to help a not so good confused skinner in need. :8
Well here are a few questions 4 skinning.
1What is best ver of photoshop to use 4 skinning

2are there ne alternatives like microsoft picture it! photo? etc.

3What files to open to access skins and edit them in what programs.

get the gimp to make the skins at wc3sear, use the wc3viewer to convert and view the skins and find yourself a good tutorial maybe at the skinning technique factory or whatever its called

Keep in mind if you're simply modding the skins of already existing models, it's very easy. As mentioned, use Warcraft 3 Viewer or something to save the files, and use quality image editing software (preferably along the lines of Photoshop) to edit them to your liking. Then just resave them as .blp using WC3 Image Extractor II. The rest is easy... just import the skin in WE and edit a unit or create a custom one using the custom BLP you imported.

i suggest playing around in photoshop for a few weeks just to get the hang of certain tools....

photoshop takes a while to download with slower internet:( so i use the gimp, its actually pretty useful

well i suggest doing it the right way and BUYING it instead of being a cheap-ass and stealing it.

or you could get the legal free gimp:)

eh i need help w/ skinning too. i made the .blp, but when i upload them as skins onto wc3 editor, they show up in game as red blobs (probably because of red player color...) and i needa know how yoo get skins to acualy go onto the units, instead of big red blobs!

Wc3suck.er is a piece of shit, and so is gimp. Get a proper tool buggers.
