ok heres what i did: wc3viewer,searched for felhoudn model, extracted to mdx.blabla usualy convert to .mdl, edit in vertex modifier a bit(deleted a mesh,so only 2 remaining),theres some things i couldnt do there SO i go to my little friend 3dsmax,used kmk script and checked static, move some vertices around...do some other stuffs and im done, use my kmk script to export and its all good in wc3viewer except the animations. . .i know thats what 7 does BUT i only know what to do if i merge geosets, what do i do if i move some vertices and wich files do i use... i had felhound.mdx & mdl <--original... felhoundedit.mdx & mdl <-- vertex modifier edited, then switched to max to do some more advanced stuff felhound model.mdx <--3dsmax edited what do i do...dont tell me to get 3dsmax5 becuase i cant and wont |

Read Oinkerwinkle geoset's merging tutorial in tutorial section, it teachs you in 1 part how to replace vertex data when exporting with kmk's. |

uh i tryed to figure it out myself...geoset merging i allready know...i just want to get the animations to work without mergin anything... anyways... the 3dsmax question of the day is: If it is possible, wich I think it is, to have your model in 3dsmax 7 with the skin wrapped on it...? bytheway blinkboy your geoset merger two is a great addition to .mdl editing |

yes it is possible you just use file formats of tga, bmp, jpeg etc.... and you use the material editor to add the skin file to your model. o yah and you render the scene to see how it looks |

what i mean is that kmks don't export anims, so you will need to replace the old non max edited mdl geosets data with the edited data of your felhound exported by kmks. thats why i told you to read oinkers old tut, in wich he wants you to use max to renew vertex data, with the edited data. |
