Need ideas for shade race

I'm planning on doing the shade race, but I lost my inspiration and some of my units remain incomplete. Also I would wish to see feedback on the subject of units I already made, suggestion how could they could be better balanced... bTW *means I can't find a spell suitable for this unit.

Info on the Shade race: Shades were once race of proud and fierce warriors, highly appreciated members of the Undead Scourge. After a dispute with the Undead King (this ain't taking place in Azeroth, so it ain't Lich King), they were banished from the Undead ranks and have never been seen since then. Now they appear once again for reasons jet undetermined. Their mages mostly rely on the dark power they extract from the Infinite (Dark) Nether, and the teaching of the Dark Gods. In fight they often use tricks and illusion to confuse their enemy, and then attack them when enemy's guard is down. Even though most of Shades are slow and have a rather weak constitution, Shades are indeed a powerfull enemy you can not trust to play fair.
Note: Shades are mostly slow moving units.

basic units:
Disciple: Basic gold harvester and builder, nothing too special but he can join an another Disciple forming a Dark Disciple (like protos Templar do). Dark Disciple has a more powerfull attack, and can summon more advanced structures. Name and fusion Idea originally by Sheyd.

Dwillger: Basic lumber harvester and fighter (similar to the Ghoul), he posses bloodclaw which gives him 10% to do 2x damage, a procent of the damage is returned to the Dwillger. Similar to the Disciple five Dwillger can join into a Shadowalker - unit with chaos damage, divine armor, resistant skin and a lot of HP. Shadowalker can be destroyed if Abolish or Dispel is used upon him. Shadowalker move very slowly. Shadowalker concept by Fladian

Unseen: Unseen are pale spiders with melee attack seen only when they strike, they posses Web that can tie enemy ground or air units to the ground. Unseen have a ability know as Gouge when they slowly peel binded enemies (with Ensnare or Web buff) skin off. Gouging returns a certain procent of victims health to the Unseen (Drain life). Unseen posses a medium piercing damage and medium HP, they are a bit stronger then normal crypt fiends. I was inspired by a same name character from Darky's campaign the Spiderqueen.

Tanatos: Flying representation of death itself. This dragon posses a powerfull death aura which slowly takes life of enemy units ( reversed unholy aura). Tanatos can Consume any unit restoring his health, enemies restore 60%, friends 120% of their current health (he really loves his friends ;) doesn't he). Also Tanatos can summon permanent sacrificial dragons (with Unstable Concotion) - Rippies from the bodies of fallen enemies, which cause even more death.

Guardians of Abyss: A truly grotesque creature, Guardian is constantly surrounded by a dark fumes which provide him resistance to certain magic (Resistant Skin). The Guardians are strange creatures, with lot of HP, slow movement speed and a surprisingly fast attack speed, which makes them excellent for defensive strategies. With its Petrifying howl he can stun any enemy units near him.

Spellcasters:
Shadowmanser: Shadowmansers are primary spellcasting unit that can raise the spirit of fallen warriors, making them serve the Shades. Also they can cast Shadow potion that heals the unit but slows her down a bit, and Shadow disruption which makes the enemy unit permanently invisible but it deals a damage overtime. If unit affected by Shadow Disruption dies it will become a shade itself.

broken dream: broken Dreams are supportive, mechanical spell caster. They exist between this and the dream plan allowing them cast magic which affects both planes. They can cast :
Dark Sleep which traps a unit in a trance state known as the Dark Dream, rendering them unable to move, attack or cast spells and granting them invulnerability for some time.
Evade (which can be switched on and off like Immolation) that gives them 98% chance of missing an attack directed at them
Nirvana that transfers any targeted unit and removes it of this physical world. After the units mana is completely healed, the unit will again appear in this world on the same place it dissapeared.

Portus Mage: A transportation spellcaster, all his magic are about transportation the units from one place to another. He can initially cast blink, by further upgrading he can learn the Transportation, which will transport any unit (including the Portus Mage) from the place where he casts his spell to the targeted friendly unit. He can also learn Displacement swapping places with units in the AoE.

Wraith*: Restless spirit of warrior who fell in battle. His wish for revenge makes him very dangerous. Spells:
Vengeance: Wraith can focus all his hate upon one unit. The targeted non-hero unit can't attack or cast spells, while Wraith can only attack its victim no-one else. Spell lasts until Wraith or the targeted unit dies. Wraith will follow his victim wherever it may go.

Cursed Soul*: Spirit of a soul who died under the effect of curse, giving the soul powers to spread its misery to others.

Shadower*: Shadower are the Shades most fanatical servant. Their zeal is greater than any other unit. They follow command to the word and never run away from danger (when I was making them I thought something of a Protos Zealot). They can cast Phantom form which makes them completely invisible (ghost - always invisible even if it attacks), swift (increases their speed) and changes their attack to Chaos.

This ain't all units and I was tired to write down all of their descriptions. Also I'm sorry for any grammar mistakes made above. If this isn't the appropriate forum please move it where it should be.

i aint to gd at balancing, i get my mate to terrain and balance lol
but if u need any other help (ie triggerin, etc) pm me, ill be happy to help.
whats the main story line?? i see that they were banished but who are their enemy gonna be etc??

No I just need ideas for units and balance stuff (magic wouldn't get too uber or simmilar). The storyline I keep for myself ;) But basicaly a treasure was stolen from them and their leader decides to pursue the demonic servants that took it, ending their self-exile... I don't plan on doing nothing cause exams are coming and I wanna be prepared... Just basing concept and story outline.

maybe make another unit i cant really give u a name. maybe call it a melder and basically make it have an ability that u can use to basically "meld" into the ground or water or something and than when a unit walks over it it hurts it and it can pop up and gets a surprise attack bonus or something im not sure but this shade race sounds pretty cool. maybe as a hero make something like a shadow golemn where if u get some ability if a unit passes within a certain range theyre frozen or parylized for however long.

@map-maker I already have a shadowalker that uses some black Infernal model, but I was more looking for spells for wraith and cursed soul. Anyway tnx for feedback . I'll give you rep once the server allows me to (I've given too much rep in the last 24h) . Come to think of it I'll use that idea for the earth race...^_^
