Stun Duration

1. Say a unit was stunned for 3 seconds by a spell, but immediately when the first spell was cast, another spell with a 4 second stun was cast on the same unit. It would just raise it to 4 seconds with the second spell, and not stack to 7, correct?

2. What exactly causes an ability to stun a unit? The "Stunned (Pause)" buff? You don't have to base an ability you want to stun off one that already has it, right? Also, is there any difference between the "Stunned" and "Stunned (Pause)" buffs, other than the tooltip?

1) Not sure, would need to experiment

2) The ability itself causes the stun, not the buff. Buffs are usually just an icon, tooltip, and a graphic effect. The actual effect they have is minimal. I could make bash inflict the "heal" buff, and a unit would still be stunned, not healed. So, to answer the last bit, there is basically no difference (at least that I know of) between the two stuns.

#1: Correct, it would set it to 4.

A tip: If you want to stun a unit, then make a temporary unit with stormbolt and then order it to attack the unit. Just in case you didn't know.
