Europa Universalis - Map with uncertain future

My mission for my map(which is already at a playable state) is to give it something that none of the other diplomacy maps have... a unique combat system.

I've already implemented a damage system consisting of Slashing/Cleaving/Bludgoening/Piercing/Arrows/Gunpowder/Siege
Unarmored/Light/Medium/Heavy/Cavalry/Fortified
Footmen have icons that display what weapon they are equiped with, and once trained, actually wield the weapon depicted in the icon.


I want more than just a simple combat HP/damage% system. I want to see real spear walls, knights "really" charging and breaking into enemy lines. Formation fighting, tight/loose/scattered, balanced nations with history lessons within the map. A whole slew of playable nations as well as hundreds of unique soldier types. A better econ system than I have now... all while making the map availiable to the bnet player and ...being popular?

With my computer having problems as well as my WE, I'm not too sure I can finish my map. I just dont know anymore. What should I do?

I've attached the map... incase anyone is wondering how close I am to completion

I guess I kind of put it in the wrong forums sorry

I originally was going to have my post as a map team gathering thing, but I decided against it while I was writing it but forgot to change the forums I was going to post it

This would be better in the Map Development forums I think
