Star Wars: The Journey

ABOUT

Nothing is what it seems...
This campaign will bring new perspective upon Star Wars universe. If you ever thought that you know all about SW, here's something new.
The story follows boy Dace on his path of growing up and learning his place in universe. The journey begins on Dace's homeplanet, Tatooine, and spans throughout all known locations and planets with much new ones.
Campaign is placed in time between episodes II and VI but happenings aren't connected to that of movies too much. Instead, there is whole new pallete of characters and events which deepen the story. It will be complete conversion, which means that all/most models will be replaced, totaly new interface, music and sounds. There will be 10-15 maps with very complex triggering system and lot of cinematics and dialog. They will take place on planets, both regular and mystic and in space. Most of the time Dace will combat solo, but in some cases there will be those massive space and land, andrenaline pumped battles. In genre, this campaign can be classified as story-driven RPG/Adventure.
Gameplay should be very interesting because there will be more than 100 quests, 500 lines of dialog fully voice synchonized, 100 different charcters and enemies, 200 items, 5 mini-games, 2 hours of cinematics, 1 1/2 hour of quality music (from classic SW to new techno remixes of them) and that good ol' Star Wars feel and look. By estimates, you will need 15-25 hours to fully complete it.
Anyway, this should be one very unique Warcraft III expirience placed in amazing Star Wars universe, and it will take about 3 to 5 months to finish so stay updated.

Whoa! I didn't expect to see something like this!
This is the best idea I've ever seen! Without any hesitation, I can easily say, that this is something that can never be done again. I'm gonna swamp you with rep., you just gave the best idea that someone could ever give!

The link is excellent! It looks great. The layout is good, the way it is writen is good; it's as if I wrote it myself. I just love the guy who wrote it... speaking of which, who did write it? Could it perhaps be someone of this forum? Or maybe from a forum I used to visit? I learned my English mostly from other forums (-and my brother. School added very little to it, unfortunately) so it could be someone I know.

But did I praise you already for the wonderful idea? No? I didn't? Then, I'll say it now; it is an excellent idea, the best one I've ever seen! I've never seen something like that before, it is just in one word, 'perfect', or 'magnificent', or perhaps 'a feast for the eye' would be a better way of explaining it.
Yes, Torch. You are the perfect model-member for all members here on the wc3c forum, and everyone who will come. No, not just for the wc3c forum, but for every forum in this world.

Great, just, in one word, 'great'.

You do know that I was referring to the FAQ, right?

Since you didn't bother to change it, I'm gonna close it.
Bye, bye.

I like your project (and checked out the site) just wondering if you'll need any help with cinematics? I read that the campaign will contain 2 hours of them... :o

I'm currently working on video trailer for this project, and it will feature some of the gamepley elements and plot boxed in movie-like effects and music. It should be about 40secs to 1 min long and I'll post here as soon as it's ready for download.
